Here are some of our recent five-star reviews

“The Treehouse is hard to describe in words it is absolutely breathtaking. The hosts are filled with great information about the surrounding areas and we absolutely fell in love. Would definitely stay here again I highly recommend it. 🤙🏽”   – Aubrey, 2023

“10/10! Amazing. To hear the howlers every evening and with morning coffee was amazing. The property is a described, except there is now AC in all the bedrooms. It was a fantastic listing I would do again and again.”        -Ben, 2023

“This is a very unique airy and open jungle house with a high ceiling kitchen great for entertaining or cozy gatherings.

Ray the property manager was unbelievably attentive and sent a chiropractor and massage therapists over to the house. In addition he arranged for the horses to come to the house as the start of the horseback riding experience. Generally just make our stay very pleasant. Michael the host is very organized and sent us all the critical info prior to the trip.
Recommend this spot!”          –   Alice, 2021

“Amazing “floating house” overseeing the Pacific Ocean. A nice constant breeze kept us cool despite the hot and dry temperatures – A/C is not really needed. Abundance of birds, reptiles and howler monkeys visit on a daily basis. The sunsets are incredible and the night skies expose so many stars in this remote area with relatively no night lights. This place has everything you need for a pleasant beach vacation. Forget Tamarindo, the best beaches are right next to the house within a few minutes of driving. Our favourites were Playa Negra and Playa Avellana for swimming and surfing and Playa Blanca for seashells and saltwater pools for snorkelling – so many fish. There are two boogie boards, two surfboards and a beach parasol for use. The place is clean and has the basic amenities to keep it that way daily to keep the insects away. Bakery and fish trucks come by once a week to deliver fresh produce which is a real treat. A 4×4 is not ultimately required but the large wheelbase and high clearance does help to navigate the roads in the area. Michael, the host, is very communicative and responds quickly. Ray and Deyanira were fantastic upon our arrival and throughout our stay. Thanks, we really enjoyed our stay.”     – Luc, 2020

“Words are not enough to describe how fantastic this place is. At the end of each day we would rush back to take in the sunset from the deck, which was absolutely breathtaking. After travelling throughout much of Costa Rica for the last 15 years this is the best accommodation yet.”     – David, 2020

“This is a very special place. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Michael’s communication was prompt and detailed. His local host Ray was gracious and helpful. We were absolutely blown away by the location, the views of the forest and the ocean in the distance, and the open architecture of the buildings. The buildings are impeccably clean and have everything you need for a very comfortable stay. If you like being “away from it all,” this is your place. I would recommend an SUV for driving to the house (up a steep hill), and also for driving on bumpy roads to local beaches.”      – John, 2020
“A nature experience with convenience and great view. impressive house with large open spaces, well equipped and very helpful local support. Off the major tourist routes you still have shopping, bars, restaurants, and several of the beautiful beaches in a few minutes driving distance; “where the pavement ends” (quote of our local contact Ray, thanks!) a 4-wheel drive is certainly helpful. During dry season insects were easily held at a safe distance with simple repellents and an eletric UV-lantern (which is available) to enjoy the evenings in a refreshing breeze on the terraces, or the most impressive views from the patios of both parts of the house over the treetops and out on the ocean or the near-by wildlife. We would certainly come back if we get the chance (2 families with grown-up kids, party of 9 pers)”        – Leonard, 2020
